At UD Car Rent, we take pride in providing our customers with vehicles that are in pristine condition—scratch-free and damage-free.
When you rent a car from us, it is expected to be returned in the same condition in which it was rented, without any scratches or damage.

Responsibility for Damages
Should the rental vehicle be returned with any damages, scratches, or dents, the renter will be responsible for covering the applicable excess fee unless they have purchased Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW) or additional insurance protection at the time of rental.

Minor Scratches and Damage
We strive to minimize costs for our customers. If any scratches or damage are detected upon the car’s return, we will attempt to polish and buff out the imperfections at no additional charge.
If our team is able to restore the surface to a satisfactory level where the scratch is no longer visible during inspection, no further action or charges will be necessary.

Repair and Excess Fees
However, if the damage remains visible after polishing, the vehicle will be sent for professional repair, and the renter will be billed for the excess fee.
The excess fee ranges between 3,000 and 10,000 THB per incident, depending on the extent of the damage.

Optional Extra Insurance Protection
We highly recommend adding extra insurance protection for complete peace of mind during your rental period.
With this option, you can reduce your excess fee to 0 THB in case of any damage or accident, providing you with a worry-free experience.
