Accident / Damage Policy

At UD Car Rent, every vehicle is delivered in excellent condition. When you rent with us, you agree to return the car in the same condition—free of new scratches, dents, or other damage.

Responsibility for Damages

If the vehicle is returned with new damage, scratches, or dents, the renter is responsible for the applicable excess fee—unless Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW) or an equivalent add-on was purchased at the time of rental.

Minor Surface Marks

We aim to minimise your costs. If a mark appears superficial, our team will attempt professional polishing/buffing at no charge. If the scratch is no longer visible at inspection, no fee applies.

Repairs & Excess Fees

If damage remains visible after polishing, the car will be sent for professional repair and the excess will be charged.

Typical excess range: 3,000–10,000 for sedan models and up to 15,000 THB for double cab trucks and 7-seater vehicles per incident (based on severity and vehicle class).

Optional Extra Protection (SCDW)

For complete peace of mind, we recommend SCDW. With SCDW, your excess can be reduced to 0 THB for covered accidental damage, ensuring a worry-free rental experience.
